The festival's policy has always been the same, that people should, regardless of financial status, be able to enjoy the music in the beautiful surroundings  of Skálholt

Although there is no entrance fee, donations from guests are very welcome. At concerts you can donate by either cash or cards. It is also possible to donate to our account in Arion Banki: 0334-13-554431.  Foundation no. (kennitala): 7004850809.

Friends of Skálholt Summer Concerts

The society was founded in 2006. It’s purpose is to support the festival in various ways, to act as a link between the audience and the festival management. Members assist with various tasks for the festival. New members are most welcome. Those who are interested in becoming members are advised to contact the chairman, Helga Ögmundsdóttir, helgaogm (at) hi.is
